The funeral was a rather emotional affair for all those who attended.
Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinborough, died on 9th April 2021 at the age of 99. According to Daily Star, Prince Philip's funeral took place on April 17th, where his wife, the Queen of England, was spotted sitting alone at the funeral because she does not like to appear as if she is "falling apart," a royal biographer claimed.
Reports suggested that the Queen was performing her royal duties barely four days after the death of her husband.
Royal author Angela Levin believes the Queen didn't take time off to grieve her loss is because "it would be easier for the Queen to keep this stiffer upper lip like doing her sense of duty. She doesn't like to look as if she is falling apart and I bet that she has discussed this with Prince Philip and he would go along with that. In a way sometimes it's easier to be by herself than with somebody who are close to you, who loves you, and then you let all your emotions out."
