Their secret was nearly outed when "Trump was on the verge of revealing" it on social media, the ex-official claimed.
From somewhere between the stars above, there are extraterrestrial beings that are watching humans on Earth and keeping in touch with a few earthlings on the planet, or at least that's what a former Israeli space security chief claims. The comments made by Haim Eshed, now 87 years old, have had people scratching their heads. According to him, aliens have formed a galactic federation, and that humans are not invited to be a part of it because they would freak out and wreak havoc.
Well, they got that part right.

"The Unidentified Flying Objects have asked not to publish that they are here, humanity is not ready yet," said Eshed, former head of Israel's Defense Ministry's space directorate.
In the interview that he gave the Israeli newspaper, Yediot Aharonot on Friday, December 4, Eshed claimed that aliens were as curious about the human race as people on earth are of them, and they wanted to understand "the fabric of the universe," as quoted by NBC News.

The respected professor also said that aliens were in touch with the US government and that American astronauts meet these aliens at a top-secret base on planet Mars.
"There’s an agreement between the US government and the aliens," the retired general said, as reported by Evening Standard. "They signed a contract with us to do experiments here. They, too, are researching and trying to understand the whole fabric of the universe, and they want us as helpers. There’s an underground base in the depths of Mars, where their representatives are, and also our American astronauts."
Aliens are reportedly keeping all of this a secret and not revealing themselves to the larger public because they are waiting for the human race to catch up, Eshed claimed.

"They have been waiting for humanity to evolve and reach a stage where we will generally understand what space and spaceships are," said the former space official.

Eshed also claimed that President Donald Trump nearly outed their secret plans when he almost blabbed about it on social media, but he was apparently stopped in time.
"Trump was on the verge of revealing, but the aliens in the Galactic Federation are saying: 'Wait, let people calm down first,'" Eshed said. "They don’t want to start mass hysteria. They want to first make us sane and understand."
Following these eyebrow-raising claims, several people said that Eshed, who has overseen the launch of a number of Israeli satellites into space in the past, was losing his mind. But Eshed had addressed this as well.
"If I had come up with what I’m saying today five years ago, I would have been hospitalized. Wherever I’ve gone with this in academia, they’ve said: the man has lost his mind," said Eshed, who holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, a master’s degree in performance research, and a doctorate in aeronautical engineering.
"Today they’re already talking differently. I have nothing to lose," Eshed added. "I’ve received my degrees and awards, I am respected in universities abroad, where the trend is also changing."
As a former government UFO investigator who's also a sci-fi novelist, let me be clear on one point: if the claims from the Israeli space scientist are true, the best part of the story is that the Galactic Federation is real.https://t.co/0QkCtkSjXL— Nick Pope (@nickpopemod) December 8, 2020
Calling Eshed's comments "extraordinary," Nick Pope, who used to investigate UFOs for the British Ministry of Defense said the remarks could be a "practical joke," according to NBC News.
"Either this is some sort of practical joke or publicity stunt to help sell his book, perhaps with something having been lost in translation," Pope said, "or someone in the know is breaking ranks."
