Newlywed bride finds that her husband was cheating on her and sexted the other woman on their wedding day

Aubry Lyn received a text from a stranger that read: "The man you are about to marry is dating my mom."

Infidelity seeps into a marriage for many reasons. It is generally believed that a person cheats on their spouse because of an unhappy marriage. This may be true in some cases but 41-year-old Aubry Lyn's relationship had a third party in it much before their holy union. It was the day after her wedding that she found out her husband, Justin Unfred, 35, was seeing someone else secretly. In fact, even on the day of their wedding, Unfred was sexting the other woman. Their marriage unraveled even before it began. Lyn was heartbroken and devastated by this revelation.

“I had no idea," she told The Sun in an exclusive interview. "He was nothing but lovely to me and sent me long loving texts all the time." When she confronted Unfred he admitted that he had been seeing the other woman for nearly eight months. “I feel tricked into marrying him when he was seeing someone else behind my back." Unfred's infidelity was brought to her attention by someone who sent her a message saying: "The man you are about to marry is dating my mom." When prodded for proof, the other person sent screenshots of conversations between her husband and the woman which were all sexual in nature.

“I flipped and yelled at him and threw my beer in his face. I took the rings off too and threw them on the floor," Lyn said. “I drove around in an Uber for hours crying. I was so crushed and embarrassed. My family and friends had told me something wasn’t right but he had charmed me.” In 2019, her best friend had warned her that Unfred had another girlfriend with whom he had a baby with. They had even planned on getting married. When Lyn confronted him about it he assured her that there was nothing to worry about and ended things with the other woman. They moved on from the incident.

In October 2019, Unfred proposed to Lyn. “I was a bit hesitant to say yes as I have already been married three times but he was so flattering and nothing but amazing to me," she said. Unfred was also married before and both of them have children from previous marriages. He was very insistent on setting a date for the wedding but Lyn did not think much of it at the time. So they got married at a chapel in Las Vegas with just a witness. The following day, the whole relationship fell apart with that message from the stranger. “He was promising the moon and just kept saying things would be easier once we were married,” she said. “He’s very apologetic now but I don’t think we can work it out.”

Lyn has filed for an annulment but the two are still living together. “It’s been really difficult," she said. “If it wasn’t for the children it would be easier to leave." The couples' children from their other marriages have developed a bond and Lyn doesn't want to ruin relationships for them. She feels trapped and does not know how to deal with the situation. "He has been really apologetic since – and it seems sincere," she said. “But I don’t know if it is all a front. I’m devastated.” Unfred stated, "I am very upset with the choices I made. I love her and I want us to work through this."
