She also shared her love for cooking and spoke about her new baking line with Duncan Hines.

Dolly Parton, the country music legend, recently revealed that her day usually starts at 3 A.M. She spoke about her new line of Southern desserts with Duncan Hines in an interview with Insider. Moreover, she revealed what her day usually looks like and gave an insight into her morning routine. She said, "I don't need a whole lot of sleep. I go to bed pretty early, but even if I've been up late—it's just kind of like a little clock inside of me that says 'it's 3 o'clock!'"

"I do some of my best work there, but I get enough sleep," she further said. She revealed that she doesn't "require as much sleep as a lot of other people do" and credits this quality to being a "Parton family trait." Her late father, Robert Lee Parton, was also somebody who used to wake up very early in the morning. Parton said, "I'm like my daddy. He was always up early, even if he had to go to bed late." She also said that she doesn't really have an elaborate skin routine to keep her refreshed and glowing. She said, "I don't do any big rituals with my skin or anything, and I don't think you have to pay a ton of money to have good products."

"Most of the products that cost less are just as good, and sometimes better than the ones that cost a fortune," she said. The 76-year-old singer added that she doesn't buy any products "for fame" but rather buys the one that works for her. She says that the secret to her good skin is that she never sunbathed as a kid. She said during the interview, "I never got out in the sun. I don't have a lot of the same problems that women my age do 'cause I never baked myself in the sun. I would've if I'd been able to tan but I couldn't, so now I'm glad."

When talking about her morning routine she said that she wakes up and cooks a big southern breakfast for her husband of 55 years, Carl Dean. Parton has a profound love for cooking and shared some of her favorite recipes with TODAY Food in January this year. She also talked about her new baking line saying, "It's a very Southern thing, first of all, and I’m a very Southern girl." Parton also likes eating at fast-food restaurants with her husband. They usually go to places like Taco Bell and the singer loves their famous Mexican Pizza.
