Helpless dog dies tragically after it was brutally gang-raped and stabbed several times

It was revealed that the rapists "destroyed her genitals, stabbed her almost 30 times, punched her, and caused other superficial injuries."

Trigger warning: This story contains distressing details of animal abuse that readers may find disturbing.

Dogs are called man's best friend but some people just don't value them. On November 1, 2020, a dog was found on the streets of Bogota, Columbia in very bad shape. According to Mirror, the dog had just given birth but looked like she was in severe pain. A woman named Marta Buitrago, who found the dog, told local media that the dog appeared injured and very weak. Apparently, she had been raped and stabbed by a group of people. A woman named Liliana Guerrero shared pictures and videos of the poor dog on social media and shared that the dog “was stabbed many times and sexually abused by several people."

"Because she wouldn’t allow it, they stabbed her," Liliana added, before adding the dog had sadly died from her injuries. They destroyed her genitals, stabbed her almost 30 times, punched her, and caused other superficial injuries,” Liliana continued. “The dog could not cope with the amount of pain.”

She added she felt unable to convey the “enormous sadness and helplessness I feel” following the animal's tragic death. This unnamed dog definitely deserves justice and a petition was started to ensure she gets it. "Demand a full investigation by police authorities, to whom is responsible for this beyond sick attack and that their punishment is adequate!!!! A poor dog has tragically died after he was "gang-raped" by several people in an abhorrent bestiality attack that left him with 30 stab wounds. The poor dog was filmed struggling to walk and covered in blood on the streets of Colombia. Her genitals were reportedly destroyed and her injuries proved fatal."

Unfortunately, this is apparently not the first time something of this sort has happened in the country, the petition reveals. "The puppy, named Aquiles, died in the municipality of Quinchia but it is unclear if the authorities investigated the matter."

Sadly, only about 70 people have signed the petition, out of their 1,000,000 goal, but several people have condemned the attack. Sarah H left a comment, "The Bogota Police MUST investigate this, it is such a disgrace for the region. The vet should have forensic DNA from swabs. Offer a reward for conviction too."

"Animals are innocent. Dogs are so trusting of humans and the idea that anyone could treat a dog like this sickens me," added a Charlotte O.
