What began with the woman being persuaded to work for Epstein turned into months of abuse at the hands of two heartless sex offenders.
Trigger warning: The story contains details of sexual violence that might be distressing to some readers.
More than a year and a half after Jeffrey Epstein’s death, the horrifying allegations against him and his ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, continue to mount. The harrowing detais reveal the extent of sexual violence they inflicted upon their victims.
In the month of March, 2021, a new lawsuit was filed by a woman who accused Epstein of raping her multiple times along with Maxwell, according to Vanity Fair. Identified as Jane Doe, the woman claimed that the pair went on to make dangerous threats to stop her from going to the police to report the abuse she suffered at the age of 26.
The married mother of an 8-year-old boy was working as a real estate broker in Palm Beach when Maxwell began persuading her to work for Epstein. After receiving expensive gifts as well as being assured of a "highly placed employment," Doe went to Epstein's house in 2008 to find him naked upon her arrival. There were also firearms "in full view and displayed to Plaintiff for the purpose of frightening and intimidating her," according to details revealed by the lawsuit.
During the incident, Doe was reportedly raped by the now-dead sex offender with help from Maxwell, after which they offered her a "compensation" of $200.
Later, they forced Doe to accompany them as they drove to a hotel two hours away, and on their way, they picked up the woman's 8-year-old son as well. After taking Doe to "a large body of water that was infested with alligators," Epstein threatened to feed her to the reptiles if she ever spoke to anyone about what happened to her.
"Epstein then ushered the Plaintiff to the body of water and told her in explicit detail that, as had happened to other girls in the past, she would end up in this body of water and be devoured by the alligators, should she ever reveal what Epstein had done to her," states the lawsuit as quoted by Daily Beast.
The same day, once they were back in the hotel, Doe was allegedly raped and sexually abused by both Epstein and Maxwell while her 8-year-old son was present in the room.
What started off in 2007 with Maxwell's extensive "grooming of the Plaintiff to have her work for Epstein" turned into months of abuse that the woman suffered in agony, according to the lawsuit.
"For a period extending over five months, Plaintiff was repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted by Epstein, raped and sexually assaulted by others to whom Epstein trafficked her, and forced by Epstein and other persons working on behalf of and/or in concert with Epstein to pose naked and performing sexual acts for photographs and videos," states the lawsuit. "She was also assaulted, coerced, and subjected to unwanted and unnecessary surgery of her genitals, mutilated, threatened, and sex trafficked, and compelled to engage in trafficking activities in support of Epstein’s sex trafficking of other young women and girls."
My god, if this is true. They’re all monsters.— Darya Danesh (@daryad59) March 31, 2021
As Maxwell currently remains at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, her lawyers did not respond to the new charges that were added against her after the new lawsuit filed by Doe.
