Amber Heard admits to "hitting" Johnny Depp: "I did start a physical fight"

The 58-year-old actor claimed how his ex-wife punched him in the cheek and that Amber Heard's sister had to step between them to stop her.

Actor Johnny Depp continued his testimony on Wednesday afternoon and made shocking revelations about Amber Heard being the aggressor in their marriage. The 58-year-old claimed how his ex-wife punched him in the cheek and that Heard's sister had to step between them to stop her. Following this, the court heard an audio recording of the two arguing where Heard admitted to starting "a physical fight." "You told me to do it. You told me 'go do that,'" Heard said to which Depp responds, "You punched me in the f***ing thing."

"You figured it all out. I didn’t punch you by the way. I’m sorry that I didn’t hit you across the face in a proper slap. I was hitting you, I was not punching you. You’re not punched," she was heard saying in the audio according to the Independent. "Don’t tell me what it feels like to be punched," protests Depp.

"You know you’ve been in a lot of fights, been around a long time. You didn’t get punched, you got hit. I’m sorry. I hit you like this, but I did not punch you. I did not f***ing deck you. I f***ing was hitting you. I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was. But you’re fine. I did not hurt you," she said.

"What am I supposed to do? Do this? I’m not sitting here bitching about it, am I? You are – that’s the difference between me and you. You’re a f***ing baby," she continues. As Depp starts to respond, Heard raises her voice and says "you are such a baby, grow the f*** up, Johnny." When Depp asked if she started a "physical fight" Heard said, "I did start a physical fight."

"Yeah, you did, so I had to get out of there," responded her former partner to which she sarcastically said, "You did the right thing. The big thing. You know what – you’re admirable." Sitting in the stand, Depp added, "What was just played on these audio recordings was very much the tone, and the aggression, and the attitude, and the need for a fight from Ms. Heard." The court was then provided a picture of a "roundhouse punch" that Depp suffered at the hands of Heard.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor spoke about another fight instigated by Heard where she began "scratching" Depp back in December 2015. He then admitted to "retrain" noting that there was "accidental contact, but not a headbutt," as she claimed. "There was some kind of contact with our heads, with our foreheads, as would happen when you're trying to calm someone like that," he said according to Yahoo!News.

"That's when she accused me of head butting her and breaking her nose. There was no blood. I didn't hit her nose," recalled Depp who then retreated and Heard entered the room several minutes later to tell him that he had broken her nose waving a bloody Kleenex. When the concerned actor asked to see it, she allegedly wouldn't allow him to. After she disposed off the Kleenex, Depp fished it "out of the trash bin" only to realize that "it was nail polish" not blood.
