Former Boxer Mike Tyson filmed repeatedly punching fellow passenger on plane

Things got a little out of hand during a flight that Mike Tyson boarded from San Francisco for Florida on Wednesday. The legendary boxer reportedly lost his calm and began punching a fellow passenger, leaving him with bruises and a bloodied forehead. The footage of the incident, which was obtained by TMZ, shows the angry 55-year-old boxer-turned-cannabis businessman throwing several punched at the alleged over-eager fan. The incident reportedly unfolded around 10:30 p.m. when Tyson boarded the plane.

A witness revealed a man and his friend greeted the boxer who was pretty cool with them and the other passengers. He even interacted with them briefly. At one point, he and his friend asked for a selfie and Tyson didn't hesitate to pose for one. However, the overly excited man couldn't seem to calm down in the slightest.

The witness shared that Tyson was patient with the man who kept trying to talk to the star while being seated right behind him. Soon Tyson grew tired of his constant jabber in his ear and asked him to take it easy. But the guy ignored his requests and continued with his alleged annoying behavior. Unable to tolerate him anymore, Tyson got up from his seat, turned around, and began throwing punches at the man's face as seen in the video. Then seconds later, he walked off the plane. Another video of the incident showed the aftermath of the incident, as the man sat there with a bloodied forehead after being hit by Tyson.

"My boy just got beat up by Mike Tyson. Yeah, he got f***ed up. Just trying to ask for an autograph. I don't know what happened.' As per reports, the man reportedly told the police but it remains unclear if the legendary boxer will be investigated or not," said a man in the recording according to WION

Eventually, the fan was provided medical attention. Sources close to Tyson claim that the man was extremely intoxicated at the time of the incident and that he would not stop provoking him while he was in his seat. The San Francisco Police Department responded to the scene soon after and detained two people, they believed were involved in the disturbing incident. Officers noted that one of them was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and he "provided minimal details of the incident and refused to cooperate further with the police investigation."

The department said it was aware of the video altercation between Tyson and the passenger and revealed that the clip has been forwarded to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
