Nick Cannon’s partner Alyssa shares heartbreaking video of late 5-month-old baby Zen

The infant died after being diagnosed with a "malignant tumor in his head."

Nick Cannon announced on Tuesday that his youngest child, five-month-old son Zen, died of brain cancer. The 41-year-old actor and comedian shared the heartbreaking news on his show, Nick Cannon. His partner Alyssa Scott shared a moving final video of their son to her Instagram stories. According to E! Online, the clip showed baby Zen wearing tan corduroy overalls and a T-shirt with cartoon animals. Off-camera, his mom asked, "Hi, can you say, ‘Good morning, Daddy?' Can you say, ‘I love you?'" The infant cooed and then Scott told her son that his dad "loves you too." The sweet baby then smiled and waved.

While sharing the heartbreaking news about Zen, Cannon called his partner the "strongest woman I've ever seen." Cannon said of the model, according to PEOPLE, "Zen's mom, Alyssa, was just the strongest woman I've ever seen. Never had an argument, never was angry. Was emotional when she needed to be, but always the best mom, and continues to be the best mom."

Baby Zen was just two months old when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. "He had this real interesting breathing and by the time he was two months old I noticed…he had this nice sized head, I called it a Cannon head. We didn't think anything of it, he had a normal Cannon head. But I wanted to take him to the doctor to get the breathing and the sinus thing checked out," he said. "We thought it would be a routine process." But doctors quickly realized that fluid was building up in Zen's head and he had a malignant tumor that required brain surgery. A surgery was done to drain the fluid from his head but the infant's health worsened around Thanksgiving as the "tumor began to grow a lot faster." Cannon said the parents spent "quality time" with their baby over the weekend in California. Cannon had brought him to the ocean with Scott on Sunday before having to fly back to New York for his show.

Baby Zen is Cannon's seventh child. Cannon is also a dad to 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He has a four-year-old son Golden "Sagon" and a 12-month-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell, along with five-month-old twin boys Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa. Cannon concluded by saying, "I didn't know how I was gonna handle today but I just really wanted to grieve with my family, people who love you. I didn't want to make it about any pageantry so I kind of went back and forth of what I should do but I was always taught, you go through it, you grow through it, you keep pushing." Cannon told his audience, "I'm here to show that I can fight through this, I'm feeling it, I'm vulnerable, I'm open. This is a special show dedicated to my beautiful son Zen."
