Ray Liotta's fiancée breaks silence after his death: "He was everything in the world to me"

Jacy Nittolo, who was engaged to Liotta in 2020, shared an emotional Instagram tribute on Saturday remembering the "deep love" the two shared for each other.

Actor Ray Liotta tragically passed away last week at the age of 67. Now his fiancée Jacy Nittolo is speaking out about the Goodfellas star who was the "most beautiful person inside and out that I’ve ever known."

Nittolo, who became engaged to Liotta in 2020, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram on Saturday remembering the "deep love" the two shared for each, according to HuffPost. "My life these past couple of years have been nothing but truly magical," read the post's caption which features a bunch of photographs of the couple kissing and sharing beautiful moments with their loved ones.

"Ray and I share a deep love that I will cherish in my heart forever," shared Nittolo, who then described herself and Liotta as an "inseparable" pair. "We laughed daily and we were inseparable. The chemistry was wild in the best way," she wrote.

"He was everything in the world to me and we couldn’t get enough of each other. The kind of real love that one dreams of. He was the most beautiful person inside and out that I’ve ever known…and even that is an understatement," concluded the heartbreaking post.

The couple's engagement was first announced in December 2020 by the Field of Dreams actor. "Christmas wishes do come true. I asked the love of my life to marry me, and thank God she said yes!!!" he wrote on Instagram. Appearing on Live with Kelly and Ryan back in September 2021, Liotta recalled how Nittolo wanted "nothing to do with" him at first.

Nittolo too didn't want to get involved as he felt Liotta having a 10-year-old child was a "buzzkill." But his adult daughter, Karsen, who introduced the couple, believed that they would be perfect for each other and boy was she right. The two eventually fell in love and their bond became deeper during the pandemic.

"Luckily, I had met somebody, and it brought us really, really close, to the point now where I’m engaged. So I like to think that was the reason. I’ve heard that there’s a lot of people whose relationship didn’t work out because they were with each other so much. But she’s just great," Liotta told PEOPLE

Tragically, their love story was cut short after Nittolo suddenly died in his sleep while filming Dangerous Waters in the Dominican Republic. "Ray was working on a project in the Dominican Republic called 'Dangerous Waters' when he passed. He passed in his sleep. He is survived by his daughter, Karsen, and his fiancée, Jacy Nittolo," shared his publicist Jennifer Allen following his demise, according to CNN
