Man claims that he is the secret love child of Prince Charles and Camilla, and Princess Diana knew of him

Claiming he was born to the royal couple back when they were teenagers, Simon Dorante-Day has spent years finding evidence to prove Prince Charles and Camilla are his biological parents.

A man is challenging the British royal family and demanding that they "come clean" as he makes bizarre claims of being the secret love child of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles. Born in the UK and now living in Australia, Simon Dorante-Day has spent years trying to confirm that the royal couple are his biological parents and that he was conceived in 1965 when the two of them were just teenagers.

According to Simon's claims, Camilla was 18 and Prince Charles was 17 when he was conceived back when they were romantically involved years before they had their first marriages. He goes on to claim that Camilla stayed away from the public eye for at least nine months at the time while Prince Charles was spending time in Australia. Simon's version of events also says that Camilla kept him for eight months after his birth on April 5, 1966, according to 7NEWS.com.au.

Later, Simon was adopted by Karen and David Day, and he claims he still recalls being taken as a young boy for visits to meet a woman he believes was Camilla.

Around the time of his birth, Simon's adoptive grandparents were closely working with the royal family, and he claims his grandmother "didn’t just hint at it, she told me outright" that he was born to Camilla and the heir to the British throne. For several years, Simon has been making these bizarre claims, and in 2019, he also went as far as saying Prince Charles' first wife, Princess Diana, "knew of his existence," according to the Daily Mail. While alive, Princess Diana has made references to her husband's affair with Camilla, who went on to become his second wife after they got married in 2005.

Among Simon's list of claims, he also says Princess Diana knew about his birth and wanted to go to the public with the information. "At the time, there were all sorts of rumors flying around about the Royal Family, and my existence was one of them," Simon said. "I think Diana was at a point where she was finding out answers about her life, how she was wronged, and she was going to go public with it."

Currently, Simon is taking his battle to court and has filed papers to force Prince Charles and Camilla to take a DNA test. But so far, the royal family has released nothing in response to Simon's claims, and he has largely been ignored by them, according to Mirror. The 56-year-old father and grandfather made three failed legal attempts in the past to prove his claims in court, and he was even laughed at by court clerks the first time he approached them, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Claiming he and his wife won't give up their search for answers, Simon told 7NEWS.com.au, "We owe it to our children for them to have answers. We have some exciting new legal paths that we’re looking at to uncover the truth. At the end of the day, I’m just a man who’s looking for his biological parents - and every road takes me to Charles and Camilla."
