Skincare is wonderful, especially if someone else is pampering your skin. Don't we all have a bond with the person at the salon who has relaxed our skin and mind? When Linh Ta became a mother for the first time, she decided to share this ritual with her newborn hoping to strengthen their bond further. According to Mirror, she created a facemask out of breastmilk for her son after noticing that her newborn had developed listed red bumps on his face. The mother, who goes by the name of @ahlingaling on TikTok also shared her innovative skin hack for baby skin on the video-sharing app. "When your baby has acne and you make a breast milk mask for him," read the caption of the video which surprisingly went viral after being viewed over 4.5 million times.

As for the process, Linh can be seen taking a clean, dry facemask sheet and placing it in a bowl of breastmilk. After the sheet absorbs the breast milk, the first-time mother takes it out and places it carefully on her baby's face. She leaves it on his face for some time hoping that the breastmilk would soothe his acne-filled skin. Linh also explained under the video that the fresh idea came to her as she was looking for something fun to do. "I made the mask purely out of boredom and just to have a little fun. I'm a first-time mom so I'm learning things as I go," she wrote. Her honesty, creativity, and love for her child touched netizens who thought preparing a facemask for the baby was a beautiful way for her to bond with her child.
"Um, my heart is screaming this is too cute. Not me going to go cut up a dry wipe and do this on my 9 weeks old," shared one user. "Your baby is going to LOVE these photos when they are like 16 years old lol," wrote another, according to The Sun. A third chimed in, "I need a before and after result? Define acne or is it a rashcne lol, looks like acne but is a rash, I just made that word up!" There were other mothers on the platform who asked Linh not to worry too much about the acne and assured her that it would eventually subside. "Soo cute! But the acne will pass, it's just your hormones leaving their body it's not like 'our' acne," expressed one user.
Yet explained the reason behind such acne in babies, writing, "Baby acne is due to the hormones baby gets from you during labor/ birth. It will go away all on its own! V cute idea though." Linh, who was understandably overwhelmed by the unexpected response to her video, later shared that the DIY mask did help calm her son's skin and that after using it his red bumps had gone down. However, she did not have any clear before and after pictures to show everyone.
