Reports of Armie Hammer working at a hotel resort in the Cayman Islands began circulating this month. The photograph in question was a flyer that addressed Hammer as a hotel concierge, however, the resort told Variety that the actor was not a member of their staff. That being said, pictures of Hammer dressed in uniform as he worked at the resort were published.

Now an insider has come forward and revealed that the 35-year-old is indeed working at a hotel in the Caymans, selling timeshares. They also suggested that all other reports saying otherwise were inaccurate. "He is working at the resort and selling timeshares. He is working at a cubicle," said the source. "The reality is he’s totally broke, and is trying to fill the days and earn money to support his family."

The source, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed that Hammer used to manage an apartment complex in the Cayman Islands before he became a timeshare salesman. He is reportedly staying there to be close to his two young children he shares with his former wife Elizabeth Chambers.

Despite being the great-grandson of oil tycoon Armand Hammer, the Call Me By Your Name star is not on his family payroll and is forced o work a normal and respectable job to earn a living. He is no longer getting any work in Hollywood after falling from grace last year amid sexual abuse and improper behavior allegations made against him by women.

He was dropped from several projects, including Amma Asante's Thriller Billion Dollar Spy, Paramount Plus series The Offer, Broadway play, The Minutes, and Jennifer Lopez’s Shotgun Wedding. He was reportedly recovering in a treatment facility following the sudden death of his acting career.

Then last week, a flyer depicting Hammer as a concierge employed at Morritt’s Resort in Grand Cayman began circulating. It was apparently shared by producer Muna Mire on Twitter but was later deleted. "My friend's parents went on vacation in the Cayman Islands and Armie Hammer was their concierge," she wrote sharing a screenshot of a text conversation between a guest at the hotel and her daughter.

At the time, it was reported that the flier was only a prank and that Hammer wasn't actually an employee at the resort.

Various outlets reported that he was just a guest at the hotel and that he had been golfing with some of the hotel staff who happened to become friendly with him. A hotel employee told Variety that the staff members who had gone golfing with the actor had made the flyers before sending them off to a few rooms to see what kind of attention it would get.

"I could only dream of this sort of publicity," expressed the hotel employee. Hammer's lawyer Andrew Brettler maintained that the flyer was fake and an employee at the Morritt’s Resort said the same. But now a source says that the hotel was just trying to protect the actor who is actually working there nearly a year after screenshots depicting Hammer as someone with cannibalistic fetishes began surfacing on social media.
