Emily Mackinnon claimed that one of her past Tinder matches insisted that refusing to have sex with him was breaching their "verbal contract."
TikTok is the hub of bizarre stories, so is Tinder and a woman from Canada can vouch for the same. Emily Mackinnon, who goes by the name @authentically_emi on the video-sharing platform, recently shared an outrageous incident that is sure to keep you off blind dates for at least some time. Mackinnon claimed that one of her past Tinder matches tried to sue her just because she was not ready to have sex with him and even insisted that was breaching their "verbal contract." In a series of TikTok videos, she went on to allege that the man - who she referred to as Chad - also sent her a cease and desist letter after she spoke about him on her new podcast, "Been There Bestie."

"So we matched on Tinder. He was a law student at the time. We went back to his place. It was implied that we were gonna hook up, but I never explicitly stated that," Mackinnon began explaining, according to Daily Mail. The woman claimed to be put off by her date's lack of personal hygiene, which she discovered right after he took off his undergarments. "I was standing up, and I still smelled it, okay," recalled Mackinnon of the moment she caught a whiff of his pungent body odor and feces. "There was like skid marks in his undies, and he had not washed in a long time, and he needed some new Fruit of the Looms."
It was only natural that his date decided to not go ahead with their "hookup" arrangement. However, this rejection did not sit well with the aspiring lawyer who then attempted to come after her legally. "I left and a few days later, he had paid someone to serve me with papers to like sue me for breaking a verbal contract," claimed the woman who knew exactly how to get herself out of the legal mess Chad had involved her in. "But it's okay. I fixed it because he had spent a bunch of the time telling me about how his dad's lawyer, so I made an appointment with his dad and just like told on him to his dad," she said.
"And now he's a real lawyer employed by his dad," noted Mackinnon. "And to Chad, the man who tried to sue me, I know you watch ever single thing that I do. We met one time. You're musty. That's really lame. You need to move it along buddy." Although it's been years since the alleged lawsuit attempt, Emily claimed that he did come after her again when she released a teaser clip about him for her podcast. In this particular clip, she called out a former date for his poor hygiene but did not mention who she was talking about.
According to Daily Mail, the podcaster played the clip on another TikTok video where she laughed as she listened to the audio. "We get to the stage where he is removing his undergarments, and when I tell you it was a sight — it was a f**king sight. There were trails. There was a vague smell. I had to get the f**k out. I had to evacuate, abort mission," she said in the podcast promo. In another video, she claimed that right after this clip in question was posted, she was served with a cease and desist, which is a document sent to a party to stop alleged illegal activity.
"I released a teaser on TikTok of my podcast...which was a clip of me telling a story about the guy who tried to sue me because I wouldn't hook up with him. And less than 12 hours after that was posted, I got served with a cease and desist. So I took it down and I went to talk to a lawyer, and it's apparently not slander because nobody can tell who he is. And also, is it slander if it's true?" she asked in the past. When people began questioning the legitimacy of the incident, she responded with a video of the alleged document, while covering the guy's name for privacy reasons.
Finally, she noted that her lawyer assured her that there was nothing to worry about. "The lawyer I talked to pretty much laughed at this. It's very not legit so I'm not concerned in the least that it's going to go anywhere. I called his law firm and this was apparently something he did 'one his own time' and should have had the law firm logo on it," she added.
