The verbal exchange of heated words between the two women was just the beginning of a nasty fight.
With the release of PlayStation 5 (PS5), we've watched a lot of crazy things happen. Even the COVID-19 pandemic couldn't stop ardent fans from waiting outside stores for up to 36 hours to own it. Looking at the cold weather, the Dublin Police Department bought the crowd waiting outside GameStop muffins and hot chocolate, reported by Inquirer.net.
However, nothing can be crazier than what happened at a Walmart in North Carolina over a PS5, after being told it was sold out. Two women got into a full blown physical fight right in the middle of a Walmart in Charlotte, on December 13, 2020, reported TMZ. In the video which had now gone viral, a woman can be seen shouting at another woman in a black hoodie, "What the f*** are you gonna do?"
The situation only got worse from here. The woman with long braids looked ready to fight as she removed her jacket along with her face mask while exchanging heated words with the other woman. At one point a man and another woman tried calming things down but it was all in vain. No one could stop the two women from shouting at each other.
Things turned violent when the woman in the black hoodie charged at the lady with long braids and started attacking her. Along with throwing punches at each other, they were dragging each other across the store as well. The entite fight was caught on camera by witnesses who couldn't believe what was happening. The ugly fistfight stopped only after the woman in braids was knocked out after the hooded woman stomped on her face.
Neither of the women could be charged by the cops because they left the store before the officials arrived. However, did they buy the PS5 after enduring so much? Turns out, they left empty-handed but with enough bruises to remind them of the incident for a long time.
So the head stomp at the end should be Attempted murder and carry a 20 year prison sentence.— Mark Taylor (@mtubby2008_mark) December 15, 2020
But this was not the only altercation that broke out over the PS5. In another fight that took place between a family and a police officer on December 10, 2020, outside a Doral Walmart, three people ended up being arrested, reported NBC6. It all began when Valeria Aguilar and her relatives were told that PS5 was sold out after they waited for 8 hours outside the store.
Valeria revealed that the people at Walmart started losing their temper when a guy from the store told them "there’s not 30 PS5’s." According to reports by the Doral Police, Valeria's friend Juan Ramirez became aggressive with Walmart employees after they were informed only five consoles were left.
When officer Pacheco tried escorting Juan while Valeria was trying to block officer Pacheco, she punched her causing her to fall on the ground. However, Valeria denies punching the officer. She, along with Juan and her father, Fredie Aguilar has been arrested. Fredie reportedly grabbed officer Pacheco by the collar of her uniform.
Now, Valeria claims that her father never touched officer Pacheco's face and is on the quest to seek justice for her father because “My Dad never touched her face. My dad is innocent! Real innocent." The matter is under review, as per Doral Police.
These incidents come to light after Sony confirmed that the release of PS5 was their biggest launch ever, according to The Sun, and promised more stock to gamers. Thanking the gamers all around the world in a statement, they said, “Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year – please stay in touch with your local retailers.”
Who knew a gaming console could cause so much mayhem?
